I Truth Lie

Welcome to I True Lie, a fansite for Yuuga. The best way to introduce this site is to answer the question "Who is Yuuga?" Yuuga was a vocalist and guitarist from various bands in the Visual-kei scene during the late 90's and early 2000's. He is most famous for his eccentric music, unique composing style, and his ability to delicately entwine heavily emotional music with caustic sarcasm. To date, his most famous band is the infamous DEViL KiTTY: a crazy band that played a mixture of punk rock and traditional “kote-kei” styled songs whose lyrics were often abrasive and sometimes violent. Other bands include Chateau La Tour, Kar’Maria, Diana, and Deadly Sanctuary.

A Man of Many Names

Yuuga has had many stage names throughout his career, but rest assured all of them point to the same person. Some of his stage names are as follows: 優雅 , Yuuga, Yu-ga, Yü-ga, and Yuga. I'm not entirely sure why he changed the spelling of his name some many times, especially since all of them have the same pronunciation, but those were all him. "優雅" is japanese for " elegance; grace; refinement." Based off of his later projects, this name is clearly an example of his tongue-in-cheek sense of humor.

A Surprising Dilema

So, more or less out of no where, Yuuga has announced that he shall be un-retiring and returning to musical activities. Pretty cool, right? His new band is called THE. , but members have not been announced yet. It has been speculated that the band will have two vocalists since his ameba lists himself and 智 (ex-baby shiter, グラミー (Grammy), ALi'ze Mis Ra'ill, and a support member of Yuuga's solo project as vocalist. However, after recently checking again (11/19/11), the other guy is no longer calling himself "THE. (Vox)," so that might have been a mistake on his part. Further information on this band is due to come in March of 2012, so let's hope that they get a strong start! So far the band only has one demo, "「どこに行くんですか？～一瞬で肉の塊にしてやろうか？～」 ". It is also rumored that they would again be rerecording "新性器オナンゲリヲン," which already was a new version of DEViL KiTTY's "Devil a Wish." Here is his new blog (which was recently dumped of all content, apparently).

Site Timeline

[05/26/2011]: I Truth Lie is mentally concieved and first banner, color scheme, and initial index were created.

[07/11/2011]: Server space and domain name were purchased and intial live phase of the site had begun.

[07/13/2011]: I Truth Lie is open for public α .

[08/08/2011]: Fixed some embarassing errors, like forgetting to put in the unicode encoder.

[11/08~9/2011]: Yuuga came out of hiding and announced an end to his retirment.

[11/19/2011]: New banner created, and new content(!) has started to be added.

[02/04/2012]: Starting to apply some of my new found PHP skills into this site, as well as more updates on new information. THE. is dead(?), and in its place are cockroaches.
